As a part of the DSP Audio team, you will be responsible for designing the architecture of audio systems and developing audio processing algorithms on embedded processors (DSP, ARM…). Specifically, activities include the creation of specifications, architecture studies, the development of algorithmic models for reference, porting to the target, and integration on embedded solutions for vehicles.


In this context, your tasks will more specifically be the following:


Systems architecture duties:

• Definition of systems architectures to address client requirements and constraints;
• If applicable, participation, in collaboration with the client, in defining or identifying these requirements or constraints;
• Writing of system architecture specifications as a part of development or demo projects;
• Writing of test plans corresponding with architecture specifications;
• Participation in validation and acceptance testing phases.

DSP development duties:

• Design, coding and maintenance of audio processing algorithm blocks;
• Porting onto the compatible target (DSP or Post) of development constraints for client projects (real-time, arithmetic, framework, environment);
• Writing of technical reports in English;
• Technical communication with sound engineering, configuration tool development, and validation teams;
• Interaction with external clients as well as software solution suppliers.




• Experience defining embedded audio system architectures. This experience in the automotive field would be a plus;
• Experience in quoting audio system implementation projects on automotive, mobile, TV, and box-type embedded systems;
• Programming in C and C++ (Microsoft Visual C++);
• Real-time programming and programming for embedded systems (DSP or Host);
• Knowledge of fixed-point arithmetic implementation;
• Processing of signals in the audio domain;




Minimum 3 years of experience in defining embedded audio system architectures.
Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded DSP programming of audio or speech processing.

EDUCATION: Engineering school or equivalent master’s-level university degree
