As a part of the DSP Audio team, you will be responsible for integrating algorithmic audio systems onto embedded processors (DSP or Host). Specifically, duties consist of developing specifications, the development and adaptation of audio frameworks and communication protocols, the integration and validation of audio algorithms, and experimentation with real-time mockups. These activities are carried out in a reference code environment and then in an embedded automobile DSP or Host environment for demo or client projects.

In this context, your duties will more specifically be the following:

• System specifications in response to customer requirements and constraints (internal or external);
• If applicable, participation, in collaboration with the client, in defining or identifying these requirements or constraints;
• Development and adaptation of audio frameworks in a specific DSP embedded environment, or on Windows, Linux, or Android;
• Integration and validation of audio algorithms in a reference code environment and then in the embedded context;
• Development of communication protocols (UART, Ethernet, I2C …) in relation with configuration tools, demo HMIs, amplification components, and vehicle interfaces (CAN, OBD);
• Prototyping and experimentation with these models in a real-time environment and on real acoustics;
• Testing and writing of technical reports for approval in English;
• Participation in the maintenance and evolution of the development and integration flow in collaboration with the DSP team and the configuration tool development team;
• Participation in quality methods and processes as well as in the management of software configuration (SVN, GIT);
• Interaction with sound engineering, configuration tool development, and validation teams.




• Experience in integrating embedded audio solutions. This experience in the automotive field would be a plus;
• Experience in UART Ethernet and I2C communication protocols;
• Experience in development under SVN or GIT configuration management;
• Programming in C and C++ in Windows and Linux environments;
• Experience in real-time implementation for embedded systems (DSP or Host);
• Knowledge on processing signals in the audio domain




5 years of experience in embedded audio development.
EDUCATION: Engineering school or equivalent master’s-level university degree
