Arkamys swift expansion on the international scene.

Arkamys added an international dimension to its strategy back in 2003. “All of the companies with whom we work are international companies who maintain a strong local vision of their market, while at the same time conducting global actions. To trade effectively with them, we had to grow a strong international culture and a widespread global presence,” explained Philippe Tour, Arkamys CEO. This strategic decision was the right one as the export market now accounts for 80 percent of the company’s 5 million euro sales figure. By adopting a policy of internationalization, the business was able to match the expansion of its customers and suppliers with whom Arkamys works closely.

PSA Peugeot Citroën adopts Arkamys technologies for the new Peugeot 308

Making a clean break from the outgoing model, the new Peugeot 308 has been designed to provide an unparalleled level of excellence. The panoramic glass roof creates a lighter, more comfortable cabin environment. The interior is also equipped with an i-Cockpit which, behind its sleek design, boasts innovative architecture and offers intuitive access to all controls for safer driving. Other upmarket technologies to feature in the 308 include intelligent cruise control, the emergency collision braking system and LED lamps. Up to 140 kg have been trimmed off the car’s weight compared with the preceding model, reducing carbon emissions.

Arkamys technologies improving the sound of the Clarion AX1

AX1, the first Android-based in-car multimedia platform, has been marketed by Clarion since early September.
Arkamys collaborated on the design of AX1 by supplying its Sound Stage technology (sound optimization, bass enhancement and automatic volume control) to the manufacturer and also by implementing its noise and echo cancellation technologies (for hands-free telephone conversations) into the appliance.

Arkamys @ IFA 2013

IFA, held in Berlin from 6 to 11 September this year, is the biggest consumer electronics fair in Europe. Almost 275,000 visitors and 6,800 accredited journalists descended on the thirty-plus halls housing over 1000 exhibitors.

Among them, the “I.D.E.A. by Arkamys: the Interconnected Devices Ecosystem Audio Architecture” booth demonstrated the company’s know-how in creating and modifying the sound environment in the multimedia leisure field. Over and above the success of this presentation to the general public and audio professionals, Arkamys took the opportunity to reinforce its already close ties with the biggest names in consumer electronics.
