At CES 2025, they’ll showcase a seamless integration of premium audio branding and innovative sound processing that demonstrates the power of collaboration in delivering premium automotive audio. 

Boston Acoustics and Arkamys bring decades of expertise to the table. Known for exceptional sound quality, Boston Acoustics has been a trusted name in audio since 1979. Arkamys, the audio software expert for automotive, has enhanced the sound experience in over 100 million vehicles worldwide since 1998. Together, their collaboration represents a unique blend of legacy craftsmanship and modern innovation, creating remarkable listening experiences. 

Audio Branding

At CES 2025, Arkamys and Boston Acoustics will showcase their collaboration: branding The Boston Sound onto Arkamys’ Digital Premium On-Demand Solution. Designed for vehicles with basic audio setups—similar to those commonly seen on the road—this solution allows users to enhance their listening experience with ease. Drivers can effortlessly upgrade their in-car sound from standard to premium with just a touch on the infotainment screen and a built-in payment system—no need for additional hardware or dealership visits. The Features-on-Demand solution works seamlessly across infotainment systems, smartphones, and is available as part of trim upgrades or post-purchase options. 

 

What sets this collaboration apart is that the Boston Acoustics branding seamlessly integrates both the audio and the HMI, merging it into the user interface for a cohesive experience. The car’s screen features intuitive visual and functional elements designed to complement the premium audio experience. This includes carefully crafted UI themes, and advanced controls that immerse users in The Boston Sound identity while ensuring ease of use.

In key markets, acceptance rates soar: China (89%), the USA (87%), and India (85%).
