Arkamys powers Engine Active Noise Cancellation in Renault’s new FILANTE
Renault Korea introduces Engine Active Noise Cancellation (E-ANC) Powered by Arkamys on the new Renaut FILANTE.
With the launch of its new flagship crossover FILANTE, Renault Korea introduces Arkamys Engine Active Noise Cancellation (E-ANC) technology for the first time also on the non-branded 8-speaker audio variant, delivering a new level of in-cabin acoustic comfort for all its customers.
The new Renault FILANTE is equipped with a new Engine Active Noise Cancellation (E-ANC) technology, developed by Arkamys. In combination with best-in-class insulation material, E-ANC uses smart audio processing to create sound waves that cancel low-frequency engine noise. With this integration, Renault Korea further elevates the driver’s comfort also on the entry audio system variant.
Redefining Cabin Comfort Through Active Acoustic Control
Arkamys’ E-ANC technology leverages active acoustic control, generating precisely calculated anti-noise signals to counter engine-related vibrations in real time.
The system is based on:
- 8 loudspeakers, no subwoofer
- Integrated hands-free microphone serving as noise sensor
- Real-time engine RPM and vehicle speed data
- Adaptive filtering algorithms developed by Arkamys
Together, these components dynamically refine the sound environment to maintain optimal acoustic comfort across driving conditions.
