The New MG5 Features Arkamys

The new MG5 was officially revealed on June 30, 2025. As with previous models, for MG and SAIC, sound plays a central role in the driving experience, and our technology enhances this aspect. The new MG5 features an 8-speaker audio system processed with Arkamys algorithms, delivering immersive and premium audio throughout the cabin.

Our tuning respects the vehicle’s architecture, speaker layout, and acoustic profile, creating a rich and detailed soundstage that adapts to the car’s dynamics. To enhance the listening experience, the MG5 includes a 256-color ambient lighting system synchronizing with the audio, creating a fully responsive interior environment.

This is not the first time we’ve worked on such innovations. Our collaboration with SAIC and MG began with the MG GS and continues with the MG ONE, each time refining the in-cabin sound signature through software improvements. With the MG5, we build on this foundation, bringing spatial precision and premium audio design to a model designed for a new generation of drivers.
