Context & Missions

The Product Owner is the product window person between the customer, the sales team and the Arkamys technical team. Its mission is to define the target products to provide technical proposals to the sales team and to support them during actions to promote and sell Arkamys.
He performs his duties with Arkamys technical team and potential partners.
Its skills must be technical with an excellent understanding of market & business issues.

The main mission of the Product Owner is to contribute to business development of the company, he/she:

  • Improves the company’s offer relevance by defining the functional evolutions on new products development or on existing products improvement.
  • Identifies user expectations and benefits that the product will bring to them
  • Defines and validates the User Stories & Prioritizes the Product Backlog
  • Specifies the development effort
  • Has a good technical knowledge to challenge engineering quote proposals
  • Works in close cooperation with engineering for projects management with Agile methodology & rituals
  • Collects and integrates information and remarks (product specificities and technical constraints)
  • Ensures the offers realization, conformity with the specifications and validation process
  • Performs product evolution presentations during on-site customer demonstrations or conferences booth
  • Performs the experience feedback of new products
  • Ensure continuous improvements on PO best practices
  • Ensures a technological watch on market evolutions

 

Required Profile

  • Master’s degree in engineering; a degree in commerce, marketing or business management is a plus
  • Commercial sense and relation ease for customer contacts
  • 10+ year experience
  • You are recognized for your ability to understand client environment
  • Understanding of the overall company strategy and its competitive environment
  • Mastery of audio technologies and a tech knowledge are a plus
  • Written and oral presentation skills
  • Perfectly fluent in oral and written English
  • Base working language: English; French is a plus
  • The position requires frequent trips in France and abroad (on-site customer & conferences booth)
